Construction Safety Management

Construction Safety Management is responsible for developing the Safety Management Plan to comply with provincial mining and WCB regulations and a Site Construction Health and Safety Management program. An awareness of this plan and on-site safety program must be developed among employees and contractors. Construction Safety Management must also develop and put into place monitoring and inspection systems to ensure compliance with the safety program. Job Hazard Analysis documents are issued and reviewed with site personnel and any construction site issues that may become apparent managed and dealt with. Often, site safety issues will have to be detailed to multiple contracting groups. Finally, site accident investigation procedures are outlined, overseen and reviewed
